K-Group: Day Care for Children Enabled Chinese Migrant Families to Spend the Summer Together

In the summer of 2019, The Centre (formerly CCR CSR) worked with Finnish retail conglomerate K-Group to open a Child Friendly Space at a lamp factory in China. For six weeks, some 30 children of factory employees attended the day care, and could therefore spend the summer with their parents in the city. Both the families and factory management were very pleased with the project.

As part of the programme, The Centre delivered a communications package to K-Group with photos, stories and a short film documenting the positive impact of the programme.
