The Centre is hosting a free online webinar to introduce our flagship Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) programme to Chinese suppliers. The webinar will be held in Chinese and attendees can choose to join on one of two dates: March 3rd and March 9th, 2022 from 2pm – 3:30pm China Standard Time.
As we enter the 8th year of the programme in 2022, we are on course to reaching our target of bringing CFS to over 100 factories in total to date. Factories that have joined the CFS programme in previous years have consistently reported positive impact in terms of retention rates, worker satisfaction, productivity, enhanced worker engagement and reputation in the local community.
What is a Child Friendly Space?
CFS provides workers with free childcare support within the factory premises over the summer months, giving workers peace of mind at work and allowing families usually separated through migration to reunite and spend the summer together. To learn more about the programme, please click here.
Why should your suppliers join the webinar?
This webinar is an opportunity for your suppliers to understand what the programme entails, how it is implemented and how to sign up for the 2022 programme. Attendees will also learn about the programme’s past achievements and why this is an initiative that truly benefits everyone: brands/buyers, factories, workers and their children. A Q&A session in the end will give attendees an opportunity to ask our project team questions they may have about the programme.
If you have Chinese-speaking suppliers that would be interested in learning more about this programme and taking part this year, please share the Zoom registration links below.
