Join us at the IF Critical Minerals Innovation Forum on Oct 13 in London

Why does responsible engagement in artisanal mining so often fall short, and what does it take to make it stick?

On October 13, The Centre’s CEO Ines Kaempfer will join Susannah McLaren of the Cobalt Institute and Eric Kalala, CEO of Entreprise Générale du Cobalt, for a breakout session at the IF Critical Minerals Innovation Forum in London.

Speakers:

The session will explore the practical challenges of engaging responsibly in artisanal mining, and what businesses can do to make that engagement meaningful and lasting.

Drawing on The Centre’s experience working with mining companies, local organisations and communities through its Child Rights Action Hub in the DRC, Ines will share insights on what it takes to move from identifying risks to building practical systems that support children, families and mining communities.
