Developing Child Labour Prevention and Remediation Policies and Guideline  


We develop child labour policies and guidelines for clients when no previous ones exist, and we also review and update existing ones. 


Our review of your company’s existing child labour policy and guideline includes a comprehensive assessment of management systems, policies and practices, covering all aspects of child labour including prevention and remediation. 


We assess your child labour policy and guideline to highlight risks and identify any gaps and provide practical recommendations to develop a comprehensive mechanism which addresses all relevant child labour issues. We also review and benchmark your company’s Code of Conduct (CoC) taking into account regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practice.


If your company does not yet have relevant policy and procedures on child labour, we will develop a comprehensive child labour policy and guidelines in line with international standards and national laws, addressing issues from risk prevention, daily operations and monitoring to remediation processes for child labour. The policy is a short, succinct document, while the guideline is a practical document that provides clear guidance of all aspects of child labour prevention and remediation to all concerned parties in your supply chain. This guideline can be both general or customised to your specific target groups (e.g. a certain commodity supply chain, a certain tier level etc.).


We also develop guidelines for industry initiatives and overarching programmes.
